Norbert Kubilus, AITP Association President

Norbert Kubilus is an internationally renowned business technology thought leader, career senior technology executive, and educator.  He has held CIO or CTO positions at Kor Media Group, Sunterra Corporation, The Leading Hotels of the World, Prima Hotels, BCM Inc., Optimal Solutions Inc., Educational Testing Service, and National Data Corporation.  His consulting experience includes private practice as well as having been a Technology Leadership Partner with Tatum LLC.  Norbert has also been a Faculty Fellow and Computer Science Professor at The College of New Jersey.

A graduate of Seton Hall University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Norbert is a Certified Computing Professional, author of over seventy publications on technology issues affecting business, and a frequent conference speaker in the United States, Europe and Asia.  He co-founded the Center for Technology Leadership and the CIO Essentials program at Carnegie Mellon University.  Computerworld cited his technology and business collaboration achievements when it named him a Premier 100 IT Leader in 2007.

Norbert is a Life Member of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) and its 2012 Association  President. His other professional activities include the Information Systems & Technology Council of the American Management Association (AMA), the Center for the Commercialization of Advanced Technology (CCAT), and the British Computer Society (BCS). He is a trustee of Coleman University and a former trustee of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA).
